Airport Heights Gs Project (220/132/33 kV), is one of the most strategic OETC Grid Stations which is located in middle of Muscat and its provide electricity sources to other grid stations and local industrial/commercial customers including Muscat International Airport.
Extension of Grid Station, including Adding 3rd and 4th Power Transformers, construction of new Control Building for 33 kV side with all respective facilities, huge modification inside of existing grid station on all aspects was the scope of work on this project without any interruption in Live Part of Grid, has been done safely and successfully under consultancy services of Monenco Consulting Engineers. In parallel to consultancy services, more than 30 Omani Engineers and Students have been trained by Monenco team during the term of project in different levels.
Project Construction commence date was Mid of March 2019 and completion date of project was 25th September 2019.
