NAHADA 400/132 KV Grid Station Is Awarded to Monenco Consulting Engineers by Oman Electricity Transmission Company in Sultanate of Oman.
This Project Is Part of North – South Interconnection in Oman Electrical Network and The Main Purpose of Implementation of The Project Is to Supply Power for Al Fahud And Al Kuthar Oil Fields in Al Dakheliyah Governorate,
The Project Involves Construction of a New Grid Station at Nahadah With A Double Circuit 400kv Overhead Line Strung with Quad Yew AAAC Conductors Per Phase, In Two Sections for LILO of 400kv Ibri-New Izki OHL To Nahadah (2*1 Km).
Nahadah Grid Station Is GIS Type In 400kv and 132kv Voltage Levels with Two 400/132/33kv-500 MVA Power Transformers and Sufficient Space for Future Extensions. The Control System of The Substation Is SAS With IEC 61850 Protocol. Supply of The Telecommunication System to Connect with Central SCADA Is in The Scope of Work as Well.
Monenco As Client’s Consultant Will Be In Charge To Proceed With The Implementation Of Basic And Conceptual Design Of The Grid Station, And To Analyze The Mentioned Project From Environmentally Aspects Including Weather Condition And Geographical Point Of View, Technically Aspects (Background And Technical Requisite For Construction Of The Project), High Voltage, Low Voltage Protection And Control And Civil Aspects, Economically (Cost Estimation Of Each Part Of The Project And Total Budget Estimation) And Time Schedule Of The Project Points Of View.
The Consultant’s Task Is to Design, Prepare Tender Documents and Drawings Including Prior Approval of Proposals by Other Government Authorities (If Required), Analyze the Bids Submitted by The Contractors, Assist in The Award of Contract and Prepare the Contract Documents. Furthermore, The Consultant Shall Conduct Soil Investigation and Flood Risk Assessment. Reports of Above-Mentioned Investigation and Assessment Shall Be Submitted to OETC For Review and Acceptance.
The Consultant Shall Establish the Requisite Project Organization with Adequate Staff Under the Overall Control of a Resident Project Manager in Oman Supported by The Consultant’s Home Office.
The Consultant Is Expected to Implement Proven Technology or Any New Designs Which Will Help the System Improvement in Coordination With OETC.
